We've released a large content update for Golem Gates! The first part of the single player campaign as well as other missions and content is now available.

If there's a crash at the end of the log file (Documents\My Games\Revolution Ace\ShmupGame\Logs\Launch.log) then you can post it and we can try to look at it, but the game is a few years old now and we're working on another game now so I can't guarantee we can do anything about it.

Haven't seen that happening. Can you paste the bottom of Documents\My Games\Revolution Ace\ShmupGame\Logs\Launch.log so I can see if there are any error details in it?

Unfortunately not. We'll still fix any critical bugs we can reproduce and so forth to make sure the game remains playable but no new features are coming.

The air units aren't shadowed because most of the light sources are actually to the side (otherwise things look too flat and you don't get enough depth perception) so if we did real shadows they'd mostly be cast offscreen or at least offset enough to not help. Sorry, I wasn't clear. You need to put the number 9, 11, or 12, corresponding to the option you want to try.

Example:
MaxMultiSamples=11

would give you 16x CSAA.

No, sorry. There's a powerup list on the in-game pause menu, but that's it. The last unlock is level 20 so when you hit that, everything available is in the shop and the perk selection screen.

Hmm... it's possible your PC just doesn't like trying to re-initialize it all right then and there.

Paste the bottom half of Launch.log which might have information on what went wrong.

That has been reported with certain ATI/AMD graphics cards. You might have better success forcing anti-aliasing in the driver's settings.

Sorry, that video card doesn't fully support Shader Model 3 so it isn't supported. A number of recent games can't run on that series of video cards for that reason.

What video card?

If there is a file called Launch.log, please paste the bottom half of it so I can see.

I'm sorry, but that card doesn't support Shader Model 3 which is required by the game (and many other games nowadays).
