Game Crashed with Anti-Aliasing CSAA

Just that, if i try to set the Anti-Aliasing setting to ANY with CSAA (no matter which, x8, x16 or x16 HQ) game crashes inmediately, in other games i can set even higher settings without issues.

That has been reported with certain ATI/AMD graphics cards. You might have better success forcing anti-aliasing in the driver's settings.

My Graphics card is an nVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 not ATI/AMD... drivers are updated, still getting the issue.

That's a surprise.

Go to: Documents\My Games\Revolution Ace\ShmupGame\Logs\

Paste the bottom half of Launch.log which might have information on what went wrong.

Hmm... it's possible your PC just doesn't like trying to re-initialize it all right then and there.

If you go to: Documents\My Games\Revolution Ace\ShmupGame\Config

While the game is NOT running, edit ShmupSystemSettings.ini and under MaxMultiSamples try setting it manually.

The possible values that enable CSAA are:
9: 8x CSAA
11: 16x CSAA
12: 16x HQ CSAA

Let me know if that works.

Sorry tried with the 3 options but the game disables anti-aliasing, what i did:
1. Open ShmupSystemSettings.ini with text editor.
2. Change value of MaxMultiSamples to 8x CSAA, 16x CSAA or 16x HQ CSAA (tried all) with the game NO running.
3. Saved the file, closed the file.
4. Started the game.

So in the 3 situations the game settings changed to "none" automatically, and when i closed the game and went to the ShmupSystemSettings.ini file again the value was none.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. You need to put the number 9, 11, or 12, corresponding to the option you want to try.

Example:
MaxMultiSamples=11

would give you 16x CSAA.

OK i've tried all values as you said "9, 11 and 12" and same happened, game sets the Anti-Aliasing to "none" automatically, but if i set it to 8 it works correctly so what is not working is any of the CSAA options.

There must be some communication issue between the game and the driver, or some unique way the game engine sets/uses CSAA that prevents it from working. Sorry, there's probably not a lot I can do to get it working - the Unreal Engine handles that stuff and I don't know it at a level that would enable me to track it, especially when we don't have any PCs that have the issue.

just played a game for RPTOR with mf on but it isnt registered is xcl clan ladder slow or did something go wrong?
